Confirmation Classes
Confirmation is a two-year series of classes that deepens the faith of young people age 13+ — Those who complete the class will be confirmed on Pentecost Sunday.
First Communion
First Communion is a four-session class for young people at least 9 years old and older, that introduces you to the basics of Christianity.
Funerals
If you need us, this church will be here for you – we look forward to the privilege of walking with you through the difficult days surrounding the loss of a loved one.
Home Services
Gathering in the home is at the heart of the traditions of the early church. We welcome the opportunity to preside at your home services, whether for a House Blessing, a Thanksgiving Service, rites at time of death (or following a death).
Memorial Services
As we have grieved so many losses together, and yet apart – it has been difficult to keep many of the cultural traditions at a time of death. That is why we are offering the church to help you in your time of need.
Weddings
We, here at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, give thanks that you are thinking about getting married here. Because of the cultural realities of our lives here in Queens, we need to say, that you do not need to be a member of Our Saviour in order to get married in the church, nor do both of you need to be Christian.
