Rev. Moira Ahearne (Associate Pastor)
We are excited to welcome back the Rev. Moira Ahearne to our staff as our new Associate Pastor. Pastor Moira was one our staff about 15 years ago in the same role. She is a member of the Presbyterian Church USA and is also serving two congregations on Long Island part-time.
She is also a licensed counselor and has worked at the Lutheran Counseling Center. Pastor Moira will be assisting Our Saviour through our transition process as we take on new roles following the departure of Pastor Bob.
Roslyn Raymundo (PreSchool Director)
Roslyn Raymundo graduated from Queens College with a BS in Elementary Education in 2009 and received her MA in Elementary Education in 2011. Roslyn has also recently acquired additional teaching certification in Birth through 2nd grade. Roslyn joined the staff of Our Saviour Lutheran Preschool in September 2013 as a UPK teacher/Director in Training. She is looking forward to a long, bright future at Our Saviour!
Bianca Erriah- Pestano
(Assistant PreSchool Director)
Bianca graduated from Queens College with a MAT in Early Childhood Education in 2013 and received her MA in Early Childhood Special Education in 2014. Bianca has been a part of the Our Saviour family since she was 9 years old and is now part of the staff at Our Saviour. She held a teaching role for 7 years and then under the guidance of Roslyn has become the Assistant Director/Educational Director at Our Saviour Lutheran Preschool.
Farhana Kabir (Parish Administrator)
We are pleased to welcome back Ms. Farhana Kabir. She recently re-joined the staff and will be working for both the church and school. Farhana is a great asset to the Our Saviour family and look forward to great things!
Rev. Robert “Bob” Fritch

Rev. Robert “Bob” Fritch, a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH, has been Senior Pastor of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Jamaica, Queens since 1991.
In 1991 Our Saviour was a church faced with closure, but Our Saviour has grown to be the largest of the 60 Lutheran Churches in the Borough of Queens and in 1998, Our Saviour was named one of seven of the fastest growing churches in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, which is made up of over 10,000 Lutheran Churches.
Last year, Pastor Bob was named “Clergy of the Year” by the Christ for the World Chapel, a multi-faith ministry at JFK Airport and the church was featured in the “Lutheran” magazine’s March issue cover story.
Pastor Bob has traveled extensively in Guyana, preaching in many of the Lutheran Churches there, has led two study-tours to Guyana which included Lutheran pastors, both ELCA and LCMS, and he led a mission trip in 2013 to Guyana to help with the building of a shelter for women. Pastor Bob has presented workshops throughout the Metro NY region, and as far away as Detroit and South America, on evangelism and church marketing and has been published in many books and articles throughout the years.
His wife, Cynthia Chambers is a faculty member at St. John’s University, working in the Library and the Department of Theology.
