Nothing is more important than YOUR safety – and quite honestly, my safety. Despite how much we Lutherans talk about grace, there will be none in these matters. This re-opening process has been taken very seriously – I take your safety seriously – and that is what this is all about – your safety in the church – And the safety of those who will worship after you – I will not – cannot – and should not – take risks with your health and your safety – when we re-open – everything will be about your safety – it will NOT be about just having worship – for the sake of having worship – I have buried far too many people in the past months to NOT take this seriously – We have gone through and gone over – the recommendations from the CDC – the state of New York – and even the recommendations of other church bodies throughout the country and the world – to come up with this plan – again – for your safety and the safety of all who worship with us.
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM we will continue to post our on-line worship service just as we have since March – it is NOT a live version of our Sunday worship, but a different experience tailored to watching and interacting at home. Thousands watch every week – watch it – share it – like it – comment ! These 30 minute worship videos are found on the church Face- book page, the church’s YouTube channel or by going to the church web site and clicking on the button on the bottom right of the home page that says “Watch Live” These videos are archived and can be watched 24/7 2.
Every Monday – we will post a video of Sunday’s worship in church — Sunday worship will not be “live” but put online Monday evening at 7:00 PM. These videos are archived and can be watched 24/7 – we will NOT be live-streaming worship live on Sunday morning – but will rebroadcast on Monday at 7:00 PM
